PHP Developer

We’re seeking a PHP Developer with solid experience in JavaScript and jQuery to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus primarily on backend development using PHP (preferably CodeIgniter) and contribute to interactive features and dynamic UI behaviour using JavaScript/jQuery. You should be ready to jump into live projects with minimal onboarding and take ownership of your work from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP (CodeIgniter preferred).
• Integrate frontend UI with backend logic using PHP and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Develop AJAX-based features and work with REST APIs for seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, secure, and reusable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend designers and developers to implement features as intended.
• Optimize PHP code and MySQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain both backend and JS/jQuery-based functionality.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP (CodeIgniter preferred, or Core PHP).
• Solid experience with JavaScript, especially jQuery for dynamic interactions.
• Good understanding of AJAX and RESTful APIs for asynchronous operations.
• Comfortable with MySQL, including writing optimized queries.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for basic frontend collaboration.
• Familiar with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Basic understanding of web performance and best practices.
